The siege of Mecca to pro-Islamic policies in Bosnia

The siege of Mecca to pro-Islamic policies in Bosnia

In 1979 the world would witness many major events in history and this notably applies to the Iranian Revolution and the war in Afghanistan.  However, one major event which remains deep and troublesome for America, France, and Saudi Arabia, is the siege of Mecca which also took place in the very same year.  This event and America’s foreign policy objectives in the Balkans can be linked alongside Afghanistan.  Therefore, what really happened in this siege and what were the long-term consequences of supporting radical Sunni Islam in this period for America?

If we focus on events in 1979 it becomes clear that this year witnessed a major upheaval because the march of radical Islam would get a welcome boost from the bedfellows of America, the United Kingdom, France, and other democratic nations which had hidden agendas.  This period would also enable America to flood Bosnia with radical Islamists at a later date in the 1990s after developing strong connections in this period of history.

The Saudi Arabian regime in 1979 faced a major crisis because the siege of Mecca could have led to severe pressure on the House of Saud, therefore, the regime turned to America in order to crush the uprising.  CIA operatives were sent to help and Ziauddin Sardar states in his article called The battle at Islam’s heart (1 November 2007 – The New Statesman) that A horde of CIA operatives was quickly converted to Islam so that they could enter the Holy City to assess the battlefield for themselves. They recommended chemical warfare.”

Therefore, America allowed non-Muslim operatives to convert to Islam in order to crush the uprising in Mecca and this is the same America which protected Saudi Arabia from Iraq and which glossed over the fact that it was mainly Saudi Arabian nationals which did September 11th.  Also, this pro-Saudi Arabian policy would be replicated in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Pakistan, and in other parts of the world.

The British connection with the House of Saud is clear and again it would be the British government which would help the forces of Islam in Bosnia and Kosovo.  At the same time, it is clear that Saudi Arabia desires to spread radical Islam in Europe and other parts of the world, therefore, British objectives and Saudi Arabian objectives were very similar in the Balkans and ironically this also applies to the objectives of Iran in Bosnia.

It should also be noted that America and the British government support Turkey when it applies to joining the European Union and both nations are very favorable to the Islamic cause throughout Europe.  After all, this is the same America which supported the forces of Islam against Orthodox Christianity in Bosnia, Cyprus, and Kosovo respectively.

Therefore, shared national interests run deep and this is why America allowed CIA operatives to convert to Islam in 1979 in order to help Saudi Arabia and the same applies to the British being instrumental in supporting the Islamization of Bosnia and Kosovo.

Ziauddin Sardar states in the same article that Thus began, on the morning of 20 November 1979, the siege of the Sacred Mosque. What happened during the next two weeks has had a profound impact on most of the Muslim world.”

He continues by stating thatThe insurgents were led by a Bedouin preacher, Juhayman bin Seif al-Uteybi, and his brother- in-law Mohammed Abdullah al-Qahtani, the alleged Mahdi. The rebels included Egyptians, Pakistanis and American converts, but most were Saudis from the Oteiba tribe, which had actually helped King Abdul Aziz, founder of Saudi Arabia, to seize control of the Arabian Peninsula in 1902. They believed that the royal family had become corrupt, that the state was promoting heresy, that religious scholars were collaborating with the royal family in spreading immoral practices and that Saudi Arabia had become obsessed with money and consumerism. I knew their kind rather well.”

It was reported that you had a bin Laden connection because  In the 1960s Osama bin Laden’s half-brother Mahrous bin Laden joined a rebel group opposed to the Saudi government. With his assistance, in 1979 the rebels smuggled weapons into Mecca, Saudi Arabia, using trucks belonging to the bin Laden family company. 500 rebels then seized the Grand Mosque in Mecca (sic), Islam’s holiest mosque in its holiest city. They try, but fail, to overthrow the Saudi royal family. All the men who took part are later beheaded except Mahrous. Eventually he is released from prison because of the close ties between the bin Ladens and the Saudi royal family. Mahrous apparently abandons the rebel cause and joins the family business. He is eventually made a head of the Medina branch and a member of the board. He will still hold these positions on 9/11. But a newspaper reports that “his past [is] not forgiven and most important decisions in the [bin Laden family business] are made without Mahrous’ input.”  (Collection of sources – Sunday Herald (Glasgow), 10/7/21; Ha’aretz ,12/18/2002; and New Yorker, 11/5/2001)

Hundreds of Islamists were killed over a two week period and many Saudi Arabian troops were killed during the siege of Mecca.  Accounts vary, for some people highlight the role of French forces and others highlight the role of Pakistan, or even collective support, alongside the CIA.

However, this event forced the regime to clamp down on all minor forces of moderation which had entered Saudi Arabia.  Therefore, after this event the House of Saud would install a stricter version of Islam throughout the kingdom and at the same time the shocking events of Mecca meant that Saudi Arabia needed a fresh counterbalance.  After all, the Saudi leadership wanted to maintain its credibility within the Muslim world.

Shortly afterwards, Afghanistan would become a rallying call in spreading radical Sunni Islam and America had a shared objective with the House of Saud.  Therefore, “several birds could be killed with one stone.” This applies to a much needed distraction for Saudi Arabia; the need to retake the mantle of being the guardians of Sunni Islam; to undermine the role of Iran within the Muslim world; and to defeat communism and unleash a brutal war for the Soviet Union.

Therefore, from the siege of Mecca to the war in Afghanistan you had a shared geopolitical interest for both America and Saudi Arabia, alongside the CIA and other security operatives, who would covertly support Islamic terrorism via Pakistan.  Firm objectives and ties were being made and Pakistan would also witness Islamization under General Zia- ul-Haq and once more it is clear that America favored General Zia-ul-Haq over democratic forces in India.

Therefore, from 1981 to 1987 the USA provided over US$3.2 billion dollars in order to support radical Sunni Islam and this was followed by a further $4.2 billion dollars. More important, the CIA, MI6, the SAS, and other covert agencies, were involved in training radical Islamists. The outcome being a multi-ethnic jihadist movement which would be armed and trained by America, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and other nations, but with America and Saudi Arabia being the cornerstone, and with Pakistan being the unifying factor because of geopolitical factors.

The siege of Mecca was quickly on a back burner because the media attention was now focused on Afghanistan and instead of Saudi Arabia ordering Mecca to be stormed and with many dead bodies lying all over the place; now, it was Saudi Arabia the protector and sponsor or radical Sunni Islamic forces in Afghanistan.

America and other nations like the United Kingdom would also manipulate the media in the Balkans in the 1990s.  Therefore, the Sunni Islamic network which had been funded and supported in Afghanistan would once more come into play in Bosnia. This time, however, it would be Orthodox Christians who would be the target of America and Islamic forces in Saudi Arabia and Iran.

In my article called Bosnia and Clinton’s Radical Islamists I state that “I am going to write about the “hidden hand” of democratic forces that sponsored or gave tacit approval for radical Islamists to slaughter Christians at random. Also, not content with this, the same Bosnian Muslim leadership then gave passports to many radical Islamists after the war.

Sky News has obtained clear and proper evidence of a major cover-up and footages of massacres against Serbian Christians have been seen. According to the investigation and footages which were shown, it is abundantly clear that thousands of radical Islamists from all over the world were given a free-reign in Bosnia.

This free-reign meant that innocent Serbian Christians were to meet terrible and disturbing deaths at the hands of radical Islamists who celebrate openly while cutting the heads off innocent civilians. The same Islamic forces which unleashed September 11th and which stone people to death in order to create “year zero,” were welcomed openly by ex-President Clinton and by people within his administration.”

Therefore, America which had allowed CIA operatives to convert to Islam in order to help Saudi Arabia in 1979 was now using the same methodology with regards to supporting Sunni Islam in the Balkans. Therefore, just like in Afghanistan, America and outside Islamic powers created proxy military forces very quickly. This applies to the military backed Bosnian Muslim army and the KLA in Kosovo.

It must be remembered that the KLA had been deemed to be a terrorist organization at one point but then suddenly became a proxy of America.  Also, it is clear that America gave the green light to Iran, Saudi Arabia, and radical Islamists from all over the world, to enter the Bosnian conflict.

The Republican Policy Committee on January 16, 1997, can be viewed by clicking onto http://rpc.senate.gov/releases/1997/iran.htm and the findings are shocking and it clearly points the finger at Clinton’s administration.

The House Subcommittee report concludes on page 2 that “The Administration’s Iranian green light policy gave Iran an unprecedented foothold in Europe and has recklessly endangered American lives and US strategic interests.”

” . . . The Iranian presence and influence [in Bosnia] jumped radically in the months following the green light. Iranian elements infiltrated the Bosnian government and established close ties with the current leadership in Bosnia and the next generation of leaders. Iranian Revolutionary Guards accompanied Iranian weapons into Bosnia and soon were integrated in the Bosnian military structure from top to bottom as well as operating in independent units throughout Bosnia. The Iranian intelligence service [VEVAK] ran wild through the area developing intelligence networks, setting up terrorist support systems, recruiting terrorist ’sleeper’ agents and agents of influence, and insinuating itself with the Bosnian political leadership to a remarkable degree. The Iranians effectively annexed large portions of the Bosnian security apparatus [known as the Agency for Information and Documentation (AID)] to act as their intelligence and terrorist surrogates. This extended to the point of jointly planning terrorist activities. The Iranian embassy became the largest in Bosnia and its officers were given unparalleled privileges and access at every level of the Bosnian government.” (Page 201)

The report does not just focus on the role of Iran because you had various interested parties who desired to spread radical Islam in Europe. Of course, the Western mass media went along with the compliant information that they were given and many liberals wouldn’t want to focus on the plight of the Serbian population.

Therefore, it is important to read the report because it highlights the mass injustices of the Bosnian war and how people view what really happened.

“To understand how the Clinton green light would lead to this degree of Iranian influence, it is necessary to remember that the policy was adopted in the context of extensive and growing radical Islamic activity in Bosnia. That is, the Iranians and other Muslim militants had long been active in Bosnia; the American green light was an important political signal to both Sarajevo and the militants that the United States was unable or unwilling to present an obstacle to those activities — and, to a certain extent, was willing to cooperate with them. In short, the Clinton Administration’s policy of facilitating the delivery of arms to the Bosnian Muslims made it the de facto partner of an ongoing international network of governments and organizations pursuing their own agenda in Bosnia: the promotion of Islamic revolution in Europe. That network involves not only Iran but Brunei, Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan (a key ally of Iran), and Turkey, together with front groups supposedly pursuing humanitarian and cultural activities.”

It is also worth mentioning that Clinton’s Islamic policies were very far reaching because in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, past American leaders had only been supporting radical Sunni Islam via Muslim despots and terrorists.  However, in Bosnia the policy of Clinton would be in uniting radical Sunni Islam alongside radical Shia Islam because Clinton would give the green light to Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the  entire Islamic terror network.

Vojin Joksimovich who is the author of “The Revenge of The Prophet” states (page 249) that “By virtue of making Iran-led Islamists and Al Qaeda allies of convenience in the Balkans, the Clinton Administration had provided an invaluable service to terrorism.  Iran and Al Qaeda established a beachhead in the centre of Europe. Al Qaeda formed a terrorist brigade called Al Mujahid, which played the pivotal part in 9/11 and the Madrid train bombings.”

Alija Izetbegovic, the Bosnian Muslim leader had stated “… In one of the thesis for an Islamic order today we have stated that it is a natural function of the Islamic order to gather all Muslims and Muslim communities throughout the world into one. Under present conditions, this desire means a struggle for creating a great Islamic federation from Morocco to Indonesia, from the tropical Africa to the Central Asia. …”

Clinton may not have shared the same idea, however, he did manage to unite Islamic forces in Iran, Saudi Arabia and the entire Islamic terrorist network.  Therefore, links between the siege in Mecca, supporting radical Islam in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia can be linked to Bosnia and Kosovo.

Vojin Joksimovich states that “The Saudi Wahhabists, as a part of Wahhabi proselytism, lavishly funded penetration of Islamism into the Balkans.  As an example, Saudi scholar Ahmed ibn-Nafi of Mecca circulated a summon to all centers of the Pan-Islamic Salvation Committee at the outset of the conflict in Bosnia.”  (Page 144)

Ahmed ibn-Nafi of Mecca statedWe entrust you to see to the imminent establishment of the Caliphate in the Balkans, because the Balkans are the path to the conquest of Europe.  Every individual imam in our states, and especially Turkey, is ready to help.  Know, therefore brothers, that the time is working for us.  Let us help our brothers who are fighting for the holy cause in Bosnia.  Let us help them for the sake of Allah, by sending them money and weapons as we can, by sending them new mujahideen……The Caliphate is at hand.”  (Page 144 – Israeli, 2002

If you look at a world map and go from Bosnia to Turkey and link the landmass to the Middle East and Egypt in North Africa, and then go all the way to India, you have one continuous factor apart from Israel.  Throughout this entire land mass America favors the Muslim community in all major disputes when it applies to the mainly non-Muslim world. This even applies to supporting Turkey’s membership of the European Union despite this being a non-American issue.

Therefore, in Bosnia, Cyprus, and Kosovo, America supports the Muslim position at the expense of Orthodox Christians; in the Middle East America supports despotic Islamic nations but rebukes other world leaders in other parts of the world, for example Cuba, Myanmar, and Venezuela; in southeast Asia it is clear that America favors Pakistan over democratic India which is mainly Hindu; and in Egypt and Iraq various Christian communities, for example the Coptic Christians and Assyrian Christians, have been abandoned by America and other Western nations.

The relatively unknown event which happened in Mecca in 1979 certainly can be linked to events in Afghanistan and the Balkans.  This applies to the push for supporting radical Islam after this event in order to crush an internal Islamic threat. Therefore, Afghanistan became a convenient unifying factor.  In turn, the Islamic network system and the use of Islamic charities in this conflict would be used in order to spread and support the Muslim cause in Bosnia and Kosovo.

America and the green flag of Islam which is being led by Saudi Arabia may have different long-term objectives despite sharing similar goals since (and before) 1979 to the current period.  However, Islamists are now embarking on a stealth jihad within the democratic world and America, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, and others, need to understand that while certain nations may have long term goals it is clear that Islamists have long term objectives and this applies to Islamization.

Even September 11th was manipulated by America because we all know that the majority of the Islamists came from Saudi Arabia and Bosnia was also an Islamic stepping stone in enabling this to happen.  Therefore, former allies who supported terrorist networks in Afghanistan, Bosnia, and Pakistan, in order to boost the foreign policy objectives of America and Saudi Arabia now became enemies after September 11th.

However, while the terrorist war may have changed after this tragic event it is clear that this doesn’t apply to nation states.  After all, America and other Western nations are still allies of Saudi Arabia and America still supports Pakistan.

Bangladesh and Pakistan: where minorities fear to walk

Bangladesh and Pakistan: where minorities fear to walk

Lee Jay Walker – The Modern Tokyo Times

Radical Islamist and hatred
Radical Islamists and the persecution of minorities

In modern day Bangladesh and Pakistan you have constant persecution of non-Muslim minorities and also minority Muslim communities are being killed in the name of radical Sunni Islam in Pakistan.  Therefore, Ahmadiyya Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Hindus, Shia Muslims, Sikhs, and others, face daily persecution and hatred in Bangladesh and Pakistan respectively.

On August 11th this year it will be “Minority Day” in Pakistan, however, Dr. Nazir S. Bhatti of the Pakistan Christian Congress announced that they will be observing ‘Black Day” because of the constant persecution of minorities in Pakistan.

Dr. Nazir S. Bhatti states “How we can celebrate Minority Day in Pakistan when our innocent brothers are being killed by Islamic militants and our women are being gang raped and enforcedly converted to Islam.”

It is clear that the partition of India led to chaos and hundreds of thousands of people were murdered.  After this chaos divisions would emerge between East Pakistan and West Pakistan and further bloodshed would occur, with the outcome being the sovereign nations of Bangladesh and Pakistan.  However, while India remains to be multi-religious, the opposite is happening in Bangladesh and Pakistan because religious minorities are facing the brute reality of radical Sunni Islam.

To make matters worse both Bangladesh and Pakistan would witness the gradual Islamization of their societies, notably Pakistan, and massive corruption and persecution of women would continue.  The Islamization of both nations was especially traumatic for Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan and for Hindus and Buddhists in Bangladesh. Not surprisingly, this Islamic persecution of minorities in both nations re-awakened anti-Islamic feelings in India.

Christians in Pakistan also began to feel the brunt of radical Sunni Islam and the same applies to Ahmadiyya Muslims who suffer greatly.  At the same time you also have growing divisions within Sunni Islam and the usual Sunni-Shia divide led to many massacres and terrorist attacks.

However, unlike the destruction of Buddhism and Hinduism in Afghanistan which happened centuries earlier because of Islamic conquests, forced conversions to Islam, systematic persecution, and controlling all leverages of power; the Islamization of Bangladesh and Pakistan took place in the twentieth century and continues today.

Yet why are Buddhism and Hinduism being allowed to be destroyed in both nations?  After all, Buddhists in Bangladesh were a small minority and they could never threaten Islam; the same applies to Hindus in Pakistan.  Despite this, the international community remains very silent.

Therefore, why did other nations remain quiet when massive religious persecution was taking place?  After all, nations like France, the United Kingdom and America were espousing ‘democracy’ and liberals were glorifying multi-faith societies and stating that Islam was a religion of peace.  At the same time major institutions like the Commonwealth, which espoused global human rights, remained quiet despite religious persecution and pogroms in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

In Pakistan the destruction of Hinduism and persecution of Hindus took many forms.  The first path was the massacre of Hindus during partition and forcing Hindus to leave via coercion.  However, over the last 50 years the destruction of Hinduism in modern day Pakistan was based on past Islamic global conquests and the teachings of the Prophet Mohammed who sanctioned the persecution of non-Muslims.  For the Prophet Mohammed had told his followers to ‘Fight those who believe not in God nor the last day . . . Nor acknowledge the religion of truth (Islam) . . .’ Therefore, the followers of Hinduism were to be subdued in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia Law, the Koran and the Hadiths.

Given this, Hindus were now a subdued minority, like Christians in Pakistan, and they were unequal in law and status in accordance with the teachings of Islam.  At the same time Hindu temples were often converted into Muslim mosques or destroyed, and ancient Hindu architecture was left to collapse and fade away.  The choice for many Hindus was either to convert to Islam in order to escape persecution, flee to India or to accept that they were second-class citizens in Pakistan.  Not surprisingly, the Hindu population in Pakistan continued to decline and this civilization was being eradicated by Islam.

The situation for Buddhists in Bangladesh was different, for Buddhism had survived countless Islamic conquests in one region because of terrain and other factors; therefore, Buddhists and other faiths had survived in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.  However, the increasing population of Bangladesh led to many problems and the government of Bangladesh hoped ‘to kill two birds with one stone.’  This applies to moving millions of Muslim people to remote parts of Bangladesh, notably the Chittagong Hill Tracts, while at the same time this new Muslim migration would crush the mainly Buddhist tribal opposition in this region.

Therefore, millions of Muslim migrants were moved into the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the mainly Buddhist tribals (some are Christian, Hindu or follow traditional beliefs) became embroiled in a civil war.  Islamic radicals also moved into this region and many Buddhist priests were killed, including some being beheaded.  At the same time hundreds of Buddhist temples were destroyed and the Bangladesh army took part in many massacres, and some Buddhist women were gang-raped by both Islamic zealots and the Bangladesh army.

In time the mainly Buddhist tribals were overwhelmed by the armed forces of Bangladesh and Muslim migration because this was a clear dual policy based on Islamization and control.  Their situation, however, went unnoticed in the West and Islamic nations obviously remained silent.  To make matters worse, the mainly Buddhist tribes had no nation supporting them and no major world leader to draw attention to their plight.  Given this, the government of Bangladesh continues with this policy and Buddhists and other minorities face the ongoing Islamization of the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Therefore, the destruction of thousands of years of Hindu/Buddhist civilization in these nations is being destroyed and the world remains largely silent.  It is clear that mainly Buddhist nations like Japan (and Shinto), Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and others, should form an organization to help their co-religionists; with Japan being the main financial power to raise awareness of Buddhist persecution.  However, sadly this is not happening and India clearly did not do enough in order to protect or raise the issue of Hindu persecution in both Bangladesh and Pakistan.

If global silence continues then Buddhism will one day be eradicated in Bangladesh.  However, the global community did condemn the Taliban in Afghanistan for destroying Buddhist statues and art, yet the same global community remains quiet when Buddhist tribes are being systematically persecuted.  Does this mean that Buddhist art in Afghanistan is more important than the persecution of Buddhist communities and the gang rape of Buddhist women in Bangladesh?

Surely the Hindus of Pakistan and Buddhists in the Chittagong Hill Tracts deserve better?  If the international community remains silent about this crime, then soon these lands will be Islamized and religiously ‘cleansed.’

The ongoing silence is an international disgrace and because of this Islamists are now killing Ahmadiyya Muslims and Christians in Pakistan.  After all, the world remained silent when Hindus and Sikhs faced massive persecution in Pakistan and the same applies to the constant destruction of Buddhist tribal villages in Bangladesh.  Therefore, the persecution of all minorities is getting worse in modern day Pakistan.

The most vulnerable and ‘voiceless’ in Bangladesh and Pakistan have been abandoned by the international community.  Why?

Somalia and UK, and killing of Christians

Somalia and UK, and Killing of Christians

By Lee Jay Walker
Tokyo Correspondent  – THE SEOUL TIMES

 THE MODERN TOKYO TIMES
Islamic terrorism in Somalia and killing Christians

The Koran and Hadiths support the killing of apostates

In Somalia another four converts from Islam have just been beheaded by radical Sunni Islamists who desire a 100 percent fanatical state. The four Christians were killed by the Al-Shabab on the grounds of “fitna.” Fitna applies to creating religious discord and in the minds of Al-Shabab, all converts who leave Islam must be killed in accordance with the Koran and Hadiths.

Therefore, a natural liberty, religious freedom, which exists in the “free world” is being denied many and clearly radical Sunni Islamists are intent on Islamizing the world by killing all minorities within their Islamized states, for example in Afghanistan and Somalia.

On the one hand, we have radical Sunni Islamists beheading people or burning people alive; and on the other hand we have state sanctioned victimization of religious minorities and the persecution of apostates from Islam.

Given this, it is clear that the methodology of radical Sunni Islamists is more brutal with regards to beheading people or burning them alive. Yet the mentality of religious persecution exists within mainstream Islam because the majority of mainly Muslim nations have policies which infringe on religious liberty.

Not only this, the mindset of discrimination is rampant within religious communities and while the liberals enjoy lambasting their own respective cultures and appeasing Islam in the West; they remain silent about mass discrimination within the Muslim community towards non-Muslims and apostates.

Therefore, in the United Kingdom the Islamists can’t behead converts from Islam; however, many normal Muslim families will disown their children if they leave the Muslim religion. Not only this, others will go even much further because many females have been killed in so-called “honour killings.”

However, these honour killings are often killing apostates from Islam but the British government and the mass media doesn’t want to tackle this issue and of course the Christian church in the United Kingdom is blinded by its own peace-loving and liberal views. Given this, apostates from Islam are being killed by radical Sunni Islamists in Somalia and by normal Muslim families in the United Kingdom.

The frightening thing is that in the United Kingdom we have a sizeable minority who support the killing of apostates from Islam within the Muslim community. This applies to a major survey stating that 36% support killing apostates from Islam in modern day Britain within the Muslim community.

However, this figure does not tell the true story because many within the majority who do not support death will have said so for various reasons. After all, many questions were left out by the think-tank Policy Exchange.

Therefore, Inayat Bunglawala, a spokesman for the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB), insists that such behaviour in Britain is “awful and quite wrong. The police should crack down on it.” However, he stated “in Britain” and when he was asked about killing apostates in Islamic nations he responded “it was a matter for those states.”

Therefore, a leading figure in the MCB is clearly making it clear that killing apostates in other nations is not his concern, therefore, once more the conclusion is either he does not care that non-Muslims are being killed for apostasy outside of the United Kingdom or he supports it but does not want to say so openly? Either way, it is clear that this issue is not serious for him to openly rebuke killing apostates outside of the United Kingdom.

Turning back to Somalia, then it is clear that Al-Shabab wants a one hundred per cent Islamic Sharia state. This radical Sunni Islamic state will kill all converts from Islam, whip women who do not cover up completely, stone women to death for adultery, chop hands and feet off, kill homosexuals, and they will implement other draconian laws.

These laws will of course be based on the Koran and Hadiths and clearly Al-Shabab can rightly claim that they are beheading Christians in accordance to the teachings of Mohammed. After all, jihad is allowed to be waged against the non-believers and Mohammed ordered the killings of all apostates.

Verse 9:73 in the Koran states “O Prophet! Strive hard (wage war) against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites and be firm against them. Their abode is Hell, – an evil refuge indeed.” While the Hadith 9:4 says “Wherever you find infidels kill them; for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection.”

Therefore, in the last few weeks Christians have been burnt alive in Pakistan, converts from Islam have been beheaded in Somalia, and Christian pastors in Nigeria were beheaded for not converting to Islam. All these acts were done by radical Sunni Islamists and in every case the killers were shouting “Allah akbar” (God is great) because they believed that it was their religious duty to kill innocents because of their understanding of conservative Islam.

Al-Shabab, the radical Sunni Islamists who want to go back to “year Mohammed” and implement brutal laws are proud of their barbaric deeds. Yet in the United Kingdom a former Muslim, Sofia Allam, (not her real name in order to protect her) who converted to Christianity faced the brutal reality of moderate Islam.

Her parents went from loving parents into hate filled anti-infidel mode and their loyalty was to Islam and not their daughter. To them, having loyalty to both their faith and daughter was not possible because she had become an apostate. Therefore, a new world of darkness would embrace Sofia Allam because she would face violence, alienation, and hatred from the very people who once loved her and why, yes, simply because she had decided to leave the Islamic religion.

Sofia Allam explains that her father stated that “…..he couldn’t have me in the house now that I was a Kaffir [an insulting term for a non-Muslim]” and “He said I was damned forever. He insulted me horribly. I couldn’t recognize that man as the father who had been so kind to me as I was growing up.

“My mother’s transformation was even worse. She constantly beat me about the head. She screamed at me all the time. I remember saying to them, as they were shouting death threats, ‘Mum, Dad – you’re saying you should kill me… but I’m your daughter! Don’t you realize that?’?”

However, her parent’s knowledge of the Koran and Hadiths, and the community pressure within the Muslim community, meant that Sofia Allam was now in mortal danger. She now suffered bullying and intimidation and it was clear that she had to leave in order to protect herself.

She states “It was such a shock. I remember thinking when they brought all my uncles round to try to intimidate me – all these men were lined up telling me how terrible a person I was, how the devil had taken me – I remember thinking, how can this be happening? Because this isn’t Lahore in Pakistan. This is Dagenham in London! This is Britain!”

Maryam Namazie, a spokesperson for the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain, states that “Intimidation is very widespread and pretty effective.” She believes that many of the deaths classified as “honour killings” are actually murders of people who have renounced Islam.

“I get threatened all the time: emails, letters, phone calls,” she says. “When I returned home this afternoon, for example, there was a death threat waiting for me on my answering machine…” Therefore, according to Maryam Namazie, and many others, apostates in the United Kingdom from Islam to any other religion are already being killed so Somalia is no longer so far away, is it?

Of course the British legal system will punish people for killing people irrespective if it is a “honour killing” or killing an apostate from Islam; however, it is clear that many liberals are afraid to say that killings of apostates is already a reality because they fear being deemed racist or they have a mythical view of the Koran and Hadiths.

The recent Christian martyrs in Nigeria, Pakistan, and Somalia, in the past few weeks are not only martyrs for religion they are martyrs for all people who support religious freedom and the fight against “Islamic religious fascism.”

Victims of this hate are being killed by either state sanctioned laws, like in Saudi Arabia; or by Islamic terrorists like Al-Shabab in Somalia who are beheading converts from Islam; or by family members in the United Kingdom and many other nations who are killing family members for leaving the Islamic faith.

The one thing that ties all these brutal crimes together is the teachings of Mohammed and the Koran and Hadiths, which clearly allows this mass hatred. After all, it is the Sunni Islamic imams in Saudi Arabia and other nations who have introduced these laws and Islamic Sharia law is based on the teachings of the Koran and Hadiths.

In 2010 we have Buddhists in southern Thailand being killed for being non-Muslims; we have Christians in Pakistan being burned alive over a comment over a book; we have Nigerian Christian pastors being beheaded for not converting to Islam; we have Bahai’s facing persecution in Iran; we have Ahmadiyya Muslims facing persecution in Pakistan; and Hindus also suffer persecution in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Will the world wake up to this threat and this hatred? After all, this persecution will not end because of silence on the contrary it will merely grow. Remember, the victims of this hatred are all moderates, irrespective if non-Muslim or Muslim because Islamic radicals are killing both Christians and Ahmadiyya Muslims in Pakistan.

This madness will only end when it is challenged and of course it will not be easy to stop because many Islamists support killing apostates. However, fascism in Europe was only defeated because nations challenged fascism but today we have a new fascism emerging, but this fascism is based on fusing religion with politics, and it is more dangerous because it is a global challenge. Therefore, will our leaders stand up to this new challenge or will they cave in?

Radical Islamic charities and jihad in the Balkans

Radical Islamic charities and jihad in the Balkans

Lee Jay Walker

THE MODERN TOKYO TIMES

Christian slaves in the Balkans under Turkish rule

The role of Islamic charities is a serious issue because many are based on spreading radical Islam via indoctrination or by supporting terrorism or political goals which should be way outside their remit.  Indeed, the war in Bosnia resembled the same patterns which flowed in Afghanistan, Pakistan, the Philippines, and other nations, whereby Islamic terrorism or radical ideology or a fusion of both were transported via Islamic charities.

It is vital that these channels are fully closed in Albania, Bosnia, Kosovo (Serbia), Macedonia, and other areas in the Balkans.  If not, then this region will further fragment and religious polarization and communal tensions will increase and radical Islam will continue to enhance its foothold in this part of Europe.

Added to this, it is clear that international Islamists will also try to use the Balkans in order to plan covert terrorist attacks and to enforce Sharia Islamic law on people who reside in majority held Muslim areas.  After all, for international Islamists it appears that time is on their side because the Muslim birthrate is much higher than the Christian birthrate in this part of Europe.

Therefore, some Islamic charities are intent on installing mass propaganda, indoctrination, a sense of victimization, and the need to transform more moderate Muslims into “true Muslims” via the Wahhabi branch of Sunni Islam.

In truth, this is not only happening in the Balkans because the same struggles and methods are happening in the United Kingdom and a host of other nations.  For example in my article called the USA and the Internal Islamic Threat’ I quote B. Raman (Additional Secretary (retd), Cabinet Secretariat, Govt. of India, New Delhi) who states that “For the last fifteen years, there has been a conflict between the Deobandis and the Barelvis for the control of the mosques and their funds not only in Pakistan, but also in the UK. Previously, the Barelvis used to control the mosques in the UK frequented by immigrants from the sub-continent, but they have since been driven out by the Deobandis and Wahhabis. This was the starting point for the radicalization of the Pakistani-origin Muslims in the UK and in the other countries of West Europe. The ISI (Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence) has been supporting the Sipah-e-Sahaba and the LEJ in Pakistan as well as in West Europe.”

I also point out that “….the Muslim community in the UK in the 1960s and 1970s is very different to elements within the Muslim community today.”  However, more alarming for the Balkans is that the Muslim minority in Bosnia (largest single group now but not a majority) and Macedonia will in time become a majority.  Therefore, what happens over the following decades will pave the way ahead for either a confrontational region or where accommodation can be met.

If we look at past events in Kosovo and Turkey then it is clear that these mainly Christian areas of the Balkans became Islamized because of war, ethnic cleansing, persecution, dhimmitude, slavery, forced conversions, jizya, indoctrination, discrimination in law, and so forth.

Added to this, is the reality that Islam is an ideology and religion which is fused together and non-Muslims who have lived under Islamic Sharia law have all faced only one outcome.  This outcome is the dwindling of their religious flock or like in Turkey it culminated in the Armenian/Assyrian/Greek genocide of 1915 which witnessed the deaths of millions of Christians.

The Orthodox Christians of the Balkans and Hindus of the Indian subcontinent only survived because of their huge numbers but major Islamic inroads were achieved.  For example in Albania, Bangladesh, Kosovo, and Pakistan, you have Muslim majorities after past Islamic invasions and you have significant minorities in Bulgaria, Bosnia, Cyprus, Macedonia, and Montenegro.

It is also clear that Islam did not modernize society; on the contrary, it merely created stagnation and religious bigotry on a grand scale.  Therefore, today you have major religious persecution of Christians, Hindus, and Sikhs, in Pakistan and in Bangladesh you have to add on the persecution of Buddhists and other minorities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

India may not be perfect and religious and ethnic tensions also erupt from time to time, however, India is a flourishing democracy and all religions have freedom and equality.  Also, the government of India supports and protects the citizens of this nation by a legal system which is equal to all religious members.

However, Islamic Sharia law is based on the supremacy of Islam over all other faith groups and past history and modern history tells us about mass persecution.  After all, in modern day Saudi Arabia they will not allow one single Christian church or Buddhist place of worship and conversion from Islam is deemed punishable by death.

Indeed, it is Saudi Arabia and other Islamic nations which are causing mayhem today in the Balkans because they desire to spread radical Islam.  Therefore, turning back to the role of charities we should take heed of what was stated by Vojin Joksimovich in his book called ‘The Revenge of The Prophet.’

Vojin Joksimovich highlights this in chapter five because he focuses on the role of Islamic charities. This applies to terrorism, indoctrination and the goal of creating an Islamic state in Bosnia and for others, then much further.  On page 161 of ‘The Revenge of The Prophet’ the author Vojin Joksimovich informs us that the Third World Relief Agency (TWRA) stated that “Bosnia must become a Muslim state eventually, for if that did not happen, then the whole war would be senseless and would have been fought for nothing – concluded in 1994 Elfatih Ali Hasanejin (Elfatih Hassanein), the head of the organization the TWRA”  (Miroslav Toholj, p.81)

It is clear, therefore, that many Islamic charities are not like Christian Aid, for example, instead they are directly involved in either terrorist networks or Islamization or a mixture of both, depending on the given charity.

Vojin Joksimovich also highlights this by stating that “There was a close partnership between the Islamist network in the U.S. and the one in Bosnia.  Emerson, in his testimony to the U.S. Congress, pointed out the entire spectrum of radical groups from the Middle East has been replicated in the U.S. (Steven Emerson, 1998) Page 151

“Emerson cited Oliver Revell, former Associate FBI Deputy Director: The U.S. is the most preferred and easiest place in the world for radical Islamic groups to set up their headquarters to wage war in their homelands, destabilize and attack American allies and ultimately move against the U.S. itself”  (ibid.) Page 151

Vojin Joksimovich adds that “Much of this has changed since 9/11 and the passage of the Patriot Act.  However, with the new American administration of President Obama reaching out to the so-called Islamic world then maybe America “is closing its eyes again” because even the usage of ‘Islamic terrorism’ is now on the back burner and instead it is appeasement time once more.

John Pomfret, Washington Post Foreign Service, wrote an article called ‘Bosnia’s Muslims Dodged Embargo’ (Sunday, September 22, 1996; Page A01).  He stated that Last September, European police backed by anti-terrorist squads raided the office here of a seemingly obscure organization, the Third World Relief Agency, headed by a one-time Sudanese diplomat named Elfatih Hassanein.”

“Since then, poring over several van loads of documents, they have pieced together one of the untold stories of the Bosnian war: how Bosnia’s Muslim-led government evaded a United Nations arms embargo and purchased hundreds of millions of dollars worth of black-market weapons.”

“In the documents and in the bank accounts of the Third World Relief Agency, Austrian investigators have tracked $350 million they say flowed from Muslim governments and radical Islamic movements to Bosnia. At least half was used to purchase weapons illegally and smuggle them to the Bosnian government army, according to Western intelligence estimates.”

This article highlights the linkage between so-called Islamic charities and the reality of what was really happening.  This applies to linkages between the TWRA, elements within the Bosnian Muslim leadership including Alija Izetbegovic, Osama Bin Laden, Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, and a host of other major terrorists and nations which were either friends or foe of America.

The article also highlights the role of Bill Clinton and his role in allowing these terrorist networks to move freely despite many massacres against innocent Christians and in the knowledge of what Islamic terrorism meant.

John Pomfret continues by stating that“The agency took funds and support for Bosnia from wherever it could find it, and the bulk of the cash originated in the Middle East: Iran was a big contributor, as was Sudan, which like Iran is on the U.S. State Department’s watch-list of countries that support terrorism. Saudi Arabia was the largest contributor, according to banking officials and intelligence sources, and donations also came from pro-Western countries like Pakistan, Turkey, Brunei and Malaysia.”

“But militants in the terrorist underworld are also believed to have used the relief agency to get money to the Bosnian government, including the wealthy Saudi Arabian émigré Osama Bin Laden, a suspected sponsor of militant Islamic groups around the Middle East. Bin Laden, a resident of Sudan until last year, is reportedly now in Afghanistan, where he has issued statements calling for attacks on U.S. forces in the Persian Gulf.”

“Investigators say the agency also had ties to Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, a radical Egyptian cleric who was convicted of planning several terrorist bombings in New York and is linked to the group that carried out the World Trade Center bombing in February 1993. Intelligence agencies say they have tapes of telephone calls by Rahman to the agency’s office, during which he discussed its commitment to sell the sheik’s videotapes and sermons in mosques around Europe.”

“Hassanein, identified by Western sources as a member of Sudan’s ruling National Islamic Front, built his arms smuggling operation with Islamic activists from Bosnia who, like him, had ties to Izetbegovic, the Bosnian president. Several of these men now hold senior positions in the Bosnian government and, according to U.S. officials, they form the core of a radical Islamic movement that has resisted U.S. attempts to exert influence over the army and security services.”

The CIA also states that prominent Islamic charities were involved in terrorism because the report which was given to the State Department (1/1996) states that “……of more than 50 Islamic nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) in existence, “available information indicates that approximately one-third… support terrorist groups or employ individuals who are suspected of having terrorist connections.” The report notes that most of the offices of NGOs active in Bosnia are located in Zagreb, Sarajevo, Zenica, and Tuzla. There are coordination councils there organizing the work of the charity fronts.”

“The report notes that some charities may be “backed by powerful interest groups,” including governments. “We continue to have evidence that even high ranking members of the collecting or monitoring agencies in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Pakistan – such as the Saudi High Commission – are involved in illicit activities, including support for terrorists.” The Wall Street Journal will later comment, “Disclosure of the report may raise new questions about whether enough was done to cut off support for terrorism before the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001… and about possible involvement in terrorism by Saudi Arabian officials.” (Central Intelligence Agency, 1/1996; Wall Street Journal, 5/9/2003)

Moving back to recent times in the Balkans it is clear that many radical Islamic organizations are intent on spreading radical Islam and charity organizations must be investigated closely and the same applies to educational institutions.  After all, radical Islamists are good at spreading their own version of Islam and if these money channels are not closed down and monitored correctly then another southern Thailand or Pakistan may develop within Europe?

Returning back to Vojin Joksimovich he states that “Bosnia established a successful model for embattled countries around the world: organizing, arming, and funding mujahideen units, skimming money from humanitarian charities, linking up with crime bosses including narco-terrorists, etc.  Islamism both produces and profits from mayhem.  Albeit to a much lesser magnitude, the Bosnian model was replicated later on in Kosovo, Southern Serbia and Macedonia.  Al Qaeda and the Taliban found a route for the heroin trafficking from Afghanistan into Europe via the Balkans.”  Page 150

Overall, just like the rise of the Taliban and radical Islam in modern day southern Thailand and Pakistan, it is the role of the Islamic madrasas which must be eliminated and not merely contained.  The role of Islamic charities must also be tackled because many are a gateway to spreading radical Islam and if this “gateway” is not stopped and challenged, then alongside religious Islamic educational institutions which are sponsored by Saudi nationals and others; then the spread of radical Islam will not be defeated.

The wars in the former Yugoslavia were very different to the mass media versions.  After all, Alija Izetbegovic stated his dream of an Islamic state and fellow pan-Islamists did not care about Bosnia but they did care about the creation of an Islamic state and in time an Islamic Caliphate.

Turning back to a quote from the book by Vojin Joksimovich on Page 161“Bosnia must become a Muslim state eventually, for if that did not happen, then the whole war would be senseless and would have been fought for nothing – concluded in 1994 Elfatih Ali Hasanejin (Elfatih Hassanein).

This statement is what Alija Izetbegovic believed in and fellow Islamists like Elfatih Hassanein and Osama Bin Laden shared the same agenda.  The battlefield may be silent now however for Islamists it is only just starting and now it is the turn for other networks to Islamize Bosnia and the Balkans.
